Margaret Thatcher : The Iron Lady

Where there is discord, may we bring harmony;

Where there is error, may we bring truth;

Where there is doubt, may we bring faith;

And where there is despair, may we bring hope.

What a strong-willed woman! She was the longest-serving British prime minister of the 20th century and the first woman to hold that office. A Soviet journalist dubbed her the “Iron Lady”, a nickname that became associated with her uncompromising politics and leadership style.

Her writing shows class, grace, initiative, high goals and an ambition to see through them. I’ve been studying her writing for quite some time and notice many things in it. The Capital letter “M ” is written differently however that difference simply adds to her charisma rather than leaving it as a confused soul. She dared to be different, and did it with Elan. Her quotes, her speeches are worth listening to. She was the only women holding a political position in a room of sooted, booted, reputed men. That’s enough to shake anyone’s legs, but yeah iron resolve she build is worth pondering and looking into. Whenever I see the writing, I don’t look for flaws, I look for what situations the person has been through to get this trait in the writing and that’s when I look deep into the person and not their mistakes. Same goes with the above writing sample. I can well imagine the grit you need to have to enter a Man’s world and make your place there.
