Career decisions play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and development of students. In today’s environment of multiple options, knowing about choices available helps children in their decision-making process.
To aid our students in their decision-making process MSB Bangalore organized an online career counseling session for students and parents of classes VIII, IX, and X on 6th February 8, 2021. The workshop was attended by 72 participants.
The aim of the workshop was to motivate the students to be autonomous and responsible decision makers, and to boost their confidence so that they take up leadership roles in their endeavors.
The session commenced with the school Head Boy, Burhanuddin Khumusi reiterating the importance of knowing one’s potential and subject of interest before making a decision.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Farida Bharmal, an eminent career counselor. She guided the students to identify their interests and strengths. The highlight of the session was the passion test conducted by the resource person which provided clarity and helped students to identify their interests in a structured manner.
